With Carnarvon K9 Training Solutions, you work directly with a Dog Trainer in your own home or different surroundings using balanced methods that take into account the unique challenges you're facing and then foster a positive relationship between you and your Dog. These methods enable you to build a lasting emotional bond based on trust and respect, which in turn aids in overcoming past challenges with your K9. Carnarvon K9 Training Solutions focus heavily on Training people, as much or more as Training Dogs, so that once you learn to communicate effectively with your Dog, you will have the necessary tools to be an effective Dog Handler and "leader" for your Dog/s.

K9 Socialisation Sessions
Social Pack Interaction & fun. Classes are designed so Dogs & owners can bond and create a trusting relationship before attempting Obedience school or just to keep your Dog socialised. Dogs & Pups must be vaccinated to attend session. Sessions will be Sunday's at 4pm Town Oval or Beach $10 per K9
In Home Behaviour Consult
Our Private Training Packages are for those Dog/family teams that thrive on the convenience of lessons in their home. In addition, some situations (such as setting your puppy up for in home success prior to attending puppy class, and resolving fear, aggression, and separation problems) are more effectively and appropriately addressed in private lessons rather than in a group class. Private Training can be done by itself or in combination with our group classes and/or board & training. Private lessons can be scheduled in your home or at one of our training grounds. The initial lesson is one hour $80. Appointments are available 7 days a week. We also cater for your Adopted Pup/Dog so they can adjust to a new way of life.
Group Obedience Courses
Basic Level: Learning Praise, Commands, Luring, Body Positions, Tones, Markers, Box Position, Sit Down Stand, Tips, Loose Lead Walking, Stay & Step Away & Recall. Then an extended Recall. 6weeks $180per K9
Intermediate Level: Strengthening and Proofing of the Basic Obedience commands you have already learned. Greater control at further distances Beginning to work towards off lead control of your Dog (including heeling your Dog on & off lead) Dog training hand signals given from in front Dog training hand signals from a distance. Adding new exercises and commands to your novice level instruction, including: Sit Down & Stand and in-motion: while heeling, you Sit your Dog and keep walking (Dog cannot follow you). Please Note: To enter this course a prerequisite is successfully completing our Basic Obedience Level or you Dog MUST show a proven level of Basic Obedience to us for you to Level up. 8 weeks $240 per K9
Advance Level: Shaping Dog Behaviour into an Advanced Dog Training technique used to simplify the learning of complex commands. Here we aim for all Off lead work & full use of hand signals. Sit, Down, Stand, Heeling both sides of your body at all 3 paces run, walk and slow, Re-call at long distances 40+m, long duration stays while handler out of sight 15+mins, back-up or walk backwards & agility work. Please Note: To enter this course a prerequisite is successfully completing our Intermediate Obedience Level or you Dog MUST show a proven level of tested Intermediate Obedience to us for you to Level up.
